Opinion asked about the Ostra sports park

At what times is the Sportpark Ostra visited? Which offers are visitors already familiar with? How do they get there? The Eigenbetrieb Sportstätten wants to find out more about the use of Sportpark Ostra and is currently conducting a survey to find out more about the habits and wishes of users. With the results, the Eigenbetrieb Sport wants to further optimize the Sportpark Ostra according to the needs of the users and provide tailor-made offers. The questionnaire can be completed until the end of March. This can be done online or directly on site at the JOYNEXT Arena training ice rink at the digital citizen participation kiosk.

Citizen participation kiosk out in the field for the first time

Citizen participation kiosks have previously been used in the citizens' laboratory Dresden and the city administration's Working Lab in Kreuzstrasse. Now, for the first time, a survey is being conducted outside these locations. Alternatively, the survey can also be accessed via Smartphone. The QR codes for this are clearly visible in the entrance and spectator areas as well as around the JOYNEXT Arena.

"The citizen participation kiosks and the QR codes offer us the opportunity to address visitors directly on site and in digital form. We can therefore specifically survey those who actually use our offers. The data is evaluated directly and automatically via dashboards."

Survey is part of the pilot project Smart City Dresden

The link between sport and citizen participation was created as part of the "Smart Participation" and "Digitalization Sportpark Ostra" measures via the model project Smart City Dresden (MPSC). These future-oriented projects are coordinated for the state capital Dresden by the IT services company.

The aim of the project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building, is to enable local authorities in Germany to explore a variety of practical solutions in order to drive forward Smart-City development in Germany.
