Dresdens innovative projects at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin
The Dresden team will be presenting itself in Berlin from September 30 to October 2, 2025
The Smart City Dresden team will be represented at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin from September 30 to October 2. More than 18,000 stakeholders from administration, business, politics and research will come together here to promote digitalization, innovation and the transformation of public spaces.
The Dresden team will be presenting its approaches for sustainable, digital and networked urban development at the exhibition grounds. Dresden is a model city selected by the German government to develop sustainable, digital solutions for urban challenges in close cooperation with research and industry.
The trade fair stand of Smart City Dresden is located at the Saxony Economic Development Corporation stand in hall 25, stand 411 in hub27. In addition to the NeutralPath project, which promotes the development of energy-positive, climate-neutral and affordable urban districts, the MOBILITIES for EU project, which focuses on future-proof transport structures and sustainable mobility, will also be presented. Both projects are funded under the Horizon Europe research framework program.
The following presentations are planned:
- on Tuesday, September 30, from 2 to 2.30 p.m., hub27, stand 508: "Smart City Apps from Dresden, Bochum and Süderbrarup in focus"
- on Wednesday, October 1, from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., hub27, Stand 508: Presentation by the Technical University of Dresden with the Rhine-Neckar region: "From vision to impact"
- on Wednesday, October 1, from 12 to 12:20 p.m., FOCUS Stage, Hall 25: "Dresdens Ostrainsel: Diverse, urban demonstration area for smarte, sustainable mobility"
Economic Mayor Jan Pratzka in preparation for the trade fair: "Whether with the Cleema app to promote sustainable behavior or innovative mobility solutions as part of MOBILITIES for EU - Dresden shows at the Smart Country Convention how digital technologies can improve people's everyday lives. As a Smart-City model city, we want to shape the urban future together with research and business: connected, sustainable and close to the people."
