From 29 September to 2 October 2025, the Smart Country Convention in Berlin once again provided insights into the digitalization of the federal, state and local governments. With over 23,000 participants, 500 partners and 800 speakers, the leading event for the digital state and public services ended with a new record attendance.
This year, the Dresden Smart-City team was represented for the first time with its own stand at the Saxon joint stand at the trade fair and received an overwhelming response. The stand focused on the projects from the pilot project Smart City Dresden as well as the EU projects Neutralpath and Mobilities for EU. Numerous interested parties from business, administration and science came to talk to the project team. On the first and second days of the trade fair, we were delighted to welcome high-profile guests such as Parliamentary State Secretary Sabine Poschmann and delegations from Switzerland, Lower Saxony, Estonia and Latvia to our stand and the interest shown in our activities at Dresden.
At the Saxony afternoon, all those involved in the Saxony stand introduced themselves in more detail - including our short presentation on the topic of "Digital solutions from Dresden". In addition, we were given the opportunity to present the Cleema app and our findings on the topic of impact orientation in more detail in short presentations at the stand of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building. At the FOCUS stage on the second day of the fair, interested visitors were also able to find out more about the MOBILITIES for EU project and the plans for Dresden's Ostra sports park.
We can look back on three successful trade fair days and inspiring discussions and are already looking forward to participating in the Smart Country Convention 2026. We look forward to your visit!
