DRESDEN AS SMARTE CLIMATE-NEUTRAL CITY OF THE FUTURE

On October 29, 2025, the innovation forum Dresden will bring together stakeholders from business, science and culture. It will present ideas and projects on the topics of climate and digitalization. The event is also a networking meeting for the sustainability networks of the state capital Dresden and honors the awarding of the EU mission label as part of the EU mission "100 climate-neutral and smarte cities by 2030".

Participants can expect a varied program with impulses on Dresden's innovation and sustainability strategies in various institutions such as the Hygiene Museum Dresden, the TU Dresden, Infineon Technologies Dresden AG & Co. KG or SG Dynamo Dresden e.V.

In the afternoon, the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden will give an impulse on EU taxonomy, the budget situation and corporate loans as well as time for networking and guided tours through the city forum, space for discussions, ideas and new cooperations and, last but not least, interactive insights into Dresdens smarte climate and energy projects. The Cleema app and environmental monitoring projects from the Smart City Dresden model project and the EU-funded MMOBILITIES for EU and NeutralPath projects will be presented in more detail.
