Introduction

In August 2024, the state capital Dresden opened the Heinz Steyer Stadium as a modern, multifunctional sports facility. This expansion and the further development of the Sportpark Ostra offer the opportunity to design the stadium and the surrounding Sportpark Ostra not only in terms of urban development, but also digitally and sustainably. The project aims to organize the sports park and stadium digitally and cooperatively.

The goal

The sports park app is intended to provide a digital platform for clubs, citizens, tourists and companies and enable access to offers from both the administration and private providers. The app will contribute to the automation of processes and promote the sustainability of the sports park using smart technologies. Innovative management systems and digital solutions will enable the efficient and sustainable use of resources - such as the intelligent control of irrigation.
