Environmental monitoring project at the "Long Night of Science" (TU Dresden): How can heavy rainfall events be better assessed?

 

Science to amaze, understand and try out: The prototype of the new digital twin from our partner at TU Dresden can be experienced at the "Long Night of Science". The 3D model is intended to help visualize the consequences of extreme weather events on the city of Dresden in the future.

The stand of the Smart- City environmental monitoring project can be found at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the courtyard behind the Von Mises Building between Schumannstrasse and Helmholtzstrasse.

Under the motto "Building a better future", there will befurther experiments and hands-on activities for children, insights into research projects and current problems in the construction industry. Barbecued food and cool drinks will be provided.
